Fourth (IV) Session of ERO Board

The Board of the Energy Regulatory Office (ERO), in the fourth (IV) meeting for this year, held today, on 5 April 2024 has undertaken legal actions to implement the Judgment of the Constitutional Court that deals with the compensation of the damage to customers who were billed for electricity consumption in the four northern municipalities of the Republic of Kosovo for the period from 6 February 2012 to 20 October 2017.

According to the Court's Judgment, the ERO Board has decided to oblige the Electricity Distribution Services to compensate only the customers who are proven to have been active and have fulfilled payment obligations for the period from 6 February 2012 to 20 October 2017. These customers will be compensated through the deduction of the corresponding amount of compensation from their regular monthly bills.

According to the decision of the ERO Board, customer compensation will be carried out starting from 1 June 2024 to 28 February 2030.
