Fourteenth Session of ERO Board in 2023

On 28 December 2023, the Board of the Energy Regulatory Office (ERO) held its fourteenth session (XIV) for this year.

In this session, the proposal for setting the Maximum Fixed Price was approved. The decision of the ERO Board is based on the evaluation of the Levelized Cost of Energy (LCOE), as well as the evaluation of the photovoltaic energy market, therefore the Board has set the maximum price at the level of 75 €/MWh, in order to ensure the proper interest and sufficient competition for the 100 MW solar auction.

In this session, the ten (10) and five (5) year development plans for the Transmission System Operator and the ten (10) year Development Plan of the Distribution System Operator were reviewed and approved.

The Board also reviewed and approved thirteen (13) requests for the granting the authorization for construction of solar panels for prosumers with a total of 271 kW, as well as licensed the Infinit Power Solution Company for exercising the electricity supply activity.

Part of review from the Board were also some customer complaints as well as some other issues related to the operation of the Energy Regulatory Office.
