Seventh (VII) Session of ERO Board in 2022

Today, the Board of Energy Regulatory Office (ERO) held the seventh (VII) consecutive session for this year.

In this session, following the review of the Annual Report for 2021, ERO Board in line with legal requirements of Article 10 of the Law on Energy Regulator, submitted the Annual Report to the Assembly of the Republic of Kosovo. The report presents a detailed overview of activities and achievements of ERO and the energy sector in 2021.

The Board also reviewed the Report on Evaluation of Competition, in which case, based on this evaluation it decided on imposition of Public Service Obligation to KESCO Supplier.

The Board also reviewed the request of MCM COMMODITIES LLC on licensing of electricity supply activity, and decided to approve the request for licensing, with a term of 5 years.

Today, the Board decided on issuance of nine (9) authorizations for construction of solar panels for self-production customers, with a total capacity of 300.15 KW.

In addition to this, some customer complaints as well as other issues related to managing of Energy Regulatory Office were also reviewed.
