II Session of the ERO Board in 2022

Today, the Board of Energy Regulatory Office (ERO) held the second (II) session for this year.

In this session, following the review, ERO Board approved Electricity Annual Balance 2022. The main purpose of approving the Annual Balance of Electricity is to project the fulfilment of customer needs with electricity, in sufficient amounts during the year, by engaging the capacities of production and import of electricity. During this session, the Board also approved the Thermal Energy Annual Balances for the companies DH Termokos and DH Gjakova.

In this session, ERO Board appointed the Kosovo Energy Corporation (KEK), within the Supply License, to exercise temporarily, but not longer than six (6) months the function of the Supplier of Last Resort, meanwhile the new tender will be developed within this period.

Among others, ERO Board also reviewed the tariff application of DH Gjakova for the season 2021/2022.

The Board also reviewed some customer complaints and other issues related to the functioning of the sector and Energy Regulatory Office.
