Tenth (Xth) Session of the ERO Board in 2026

On 9 October 2026, the Board of the Energy Regulatory Office (ERO) held its tenth session of 2026.

At the opening of the session, the new Chairman of the Board, Mr. Driton Gojani, thanked former and current Board members, ERO staff, and media representatives for their cooperation to date, expressing his commitment to continued collaboration in fulfilling ERO’s mandate and objectives to foster the sustainable development of Kosovo's energy sector.

The Board reviewed and approved licensing applications for the "Kosova A" Power Plant (for electricity generation) and for KEK JSC - "Kosova B" Power Plant (for co-generation of electricity and thermal energy), with a validity period from 9 October 2026 to 17 August 2028.

Additionally, the Board approved 53 applications for self-consumption authorization, respectively 46 from natural persons and 7 from legal entities, with a total installed capacity of 816 kW.

During the session, the Board also addressed other issues related to ERO's functioning operations.
