Eighth (VIIIth) Session of ERO Board in 2026

On 10.07.2026, the Board of the Energy Regulatory Office held its eighth (VIII) session in 2026.

In this session, the Board reviewed and approved the Distribution System Operator's Investment Plan and the Distribution System Operator's Plan for Management and Reduction of Losses.

Regarding the generation of energy from Renewable Energy Sources, the following requests were reviewed and approved: extension of the authorization of “Solar Gate” LLC, issuance of authorizations for the legal entities “Medrupalast” LLC“Pin Group Arch” LLC and “Elektrosystem” LLC. with approximately 2.57 MW.

Thirty-nine (39) authorizations for self-consumption for natural persons and thirteen (13) authorizations for legal entities were also issued, with a total installed capacity of 805.5 kW. With the requests approved in this session, the total number of authorizations issued for self-consumption reaches an installed capacity of approximately 40 MW. This development represents an important step towards achieving the objectives set by Administrative Instruction (ME) No. 02/2023 on the Electricity Target from Renewable Energy Sources, which foresees the gradual increase of capacities from renewable sources.

Part of review from the Board were also customer complaints and other issues related to the functioning of the Energy Regulatory Office.
