The Chairman of the ERO Board participated in a meeting organized by the German-Kosovar Chamber of Commerce
The Chairman of the ERO Board, Mr. Ymer Fejzullahu, yesterday participated in a constructive meeting with representatives of the German-Kosovar Chamber of Commerce. The purpose of this conversation was to review the demands and challenges of businesses in the energy sector, with a special emphasis on the energy market liberalization process.
During the discussions, the Chairman of the ERO Board emphasized the importance of liberalizing the energy market, considering this process as a necessary step for increasing competition and creating better opportunities for customers and businesses. He emphasized that liberalization is a key component for the long-term sustainable development of the energy sector in Kosovo and for creating a favourable environment for investments.
The Chairman of the Board also emphasized ERO’s commitment to listen and take seriously all concerns raised by businesses. He assured participants that ERO is working diligently to address these concerns, in order to ensure that regulatory processes are thoughtful and effective. ERO is fully committed to creating an environment that supports businesses and the development of the energy sector.
In an open and direct dialogue, the Chairman responded in detail to the questions and concerns raised by the business representatives present. The discussion was constructive and included a particular focus on the need for close cooperation between ERO and the private sector, with the aim of ensuring an open, competitive and sustainable energy market, as well as to ensure continuous and effective communication with businesses.
