The Energy Regulatory Office (ERO), in accordance with the legal obligations provided for in Article 37, paragraph 2 of the Law on Electricity, announces that it has continued the process of liberalizing the electricity market in the Republic of Kosovo. This process is part of ERO's commitment to developing the electricity market, increasing competition, and improving services to customers.
KfW in cooperation with the AfD and the Government of Kosovo have started cooperation on the Policy Based Loan for the climate and energy sectors, targeting various policy actions, including reforms related to KEK.
The Energy Regulatory Office (ERO) informs the public that it has received applications from licensed operators, in accordance with legal requirements, for adjustments of the maximum allowed revenues. These applications are currently in the process of being evaluated by ERO, and upon completion of this process, ERO will publish the consultation report, which will be shared with the public for review and comments.
First Session of ERO Board in 2025
On 27.01.2025, the Board of Energy Regulatory Office held the first (I) session for this year. In this session, the Board approved the input values of the Universal Service Supplier for the period 2025-2027.
