The Energy Regulatory Office (ERO) and the Community Development Fund (CDF) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to support the development of Renewable Energy Communities in Kosovo. This collaboration aims to establish a sustainable regulatory framework, ensuring that the process of drafting the regulatory framework is conducted in a transparent, inclusive manner and in alignment with the best practices of the European Union.

The Board of the Energy Regulatory Office (ERO) held an introductory meeting with the Deputy Ambassador of Germany to Kosovo, Mr. Christian Böttcher. The purpose of this meeting was to further strengthen the close cooperation between ERO and the German Embassy in Pristina.

The Energy Regulatory Office (ERO)hosted a meeting with the World Bank team, within the framework of the Kosovo Renewable Energy Preparation Support Project.

During the meeting, comments and findings from the ECA activity regarding the renewable energy generation curtailment methodology and the current support for the renewable energy support mechanism in Kosovo were discussed.

The Chairman of the Board of the Energy Regulatory Office (ERO), also President of the Energy Community Regulatory Board (ECRB), Mr. Ymer Fejzullahu, chaired the 62nd meeting of the Energy Community Regulatory Board, which was held on 30 September 2025 in Athens. ERO Board Member, Mr. Gani Buçaj, also participated in this meeting.
