The Energy Community Secretariat, based in Vienna, has expressed its support for the actions of the Board of the Energy Regulatory Office (ERO) in the current tariff process. In an official letter sent today, the Secretariat pointed out the importance of transparency and independence in regulatory decision-making, as key elements for a fair and sustainable energy market.
It also emphasized that setting tariffs in a fair and cost-reflective manner is essential for the long-term security of the energy sector and the protection of customers.
The Secretariat encourages all interested parties to engage in a constructive consultation with ERO, in accordance with the principles of European legislation.
